The PCW had its first PPV event this past Sunday, and it was a wild turn of events. Although the federation was proud to honor its first ever World, North American, and HardKore champions, but also faced its first threat as a rival organization made its presence felt. Before the night was through, two previously undefeated superstars had their perfect records tarnished, and a PCW member defected to the invading nWw (New Wave of Wrestling). Update!!! 5/23/02
In a shocking twist, PCW and the New Wave of Wrestling have had to temporarily put their feud on hold to combat a new threat - an invasion by superstars of the WWE!!

Apparently unsatisfied with recent events on Raw and Smackdown, members of both rosters decided to take advantage of PCW's spot in the limelight as one of the hottest up and coming promotions around. We will post more info as this situation develops...

A Memorial Day Weekend Update: The nWw struck another blow against PCW when new recruit Shadowhawk emerged victorious in a four way battle to claim the PCW Cruiserweight Championship. In related news, the newly crowned North American Champion, Cuddles, is now scheduled for a title defense against the nWw's main heavyweight, the Lord of Darkness.
And, the WWE invasion kicks off as 'The Real Deal' Scottie Adams prepares to defend the name of PCW against WWE superstar the Rock. With only a few days remaining until the tournament to determine PCW's first ever Tag Team Champions, a lot is riding on the outcome of this contest. PCW Online will continue to follow these new developments...
